Image credits

Every photograph on this site is a real photograph used under the licence shown. None are AI-generated, and none are manufacturer packshots.

All photographs come from Wikimedia Commons. We read each file’s licence on its Commons page on 17 October 2026 and resized the images; no other edits were made. The machine-readable log is in our repository as data/image-credits.json. The product-type pictures (the green spheres, molecules, lattice and cells on cards) are illustrations drawn in code for this site: they are not photographs, use no third-party artwork and were not made with an image generator. Organisation logos in the “Where our numbers come from” section of the home page are listed in the section below. The step-by-step results image on the home page is a screenshot of this site, not a photograph.

Photos show real places and scenes and are used to illustrate farming in general. They do not imply that any person, farm or brand shown endorses this site. Where a photo shows fertiliser granules it is a generic example, not the product named nearby.

Organisation logos

Logos on the home page belong to their owners. Six were fetched from the organisation’s own website on 17 October 2026; the GRDC, Agriculture Victoria and NSW Department of Primary Industries logos were taken from each organisation’s website on 17 October 2026. We only trimmed margins, resized or optimised them, and show it to indicate where our figures come from. These organisations are cited as sources and are not partners of, or endorsing, Fert Directory. Where a logo could not be fetched cleanly we show a text name instead. The log is in data/logo-sources.json.
